McDonald’s of the future

Unlimited fries and customizing burgers. 

According to Chris Habiger, owner of a McDonald’s restaurant in Missouri, at the McDonald’s of the future you can customize your burger and eat as many fries as you like. Habiger’s location opens in July, and when you order a customized hamburger, you can eat as many fries as you like.

Rainbow grilled cheese

Rainbow cakes and rainbow bagels, move over—it’s time for rainbow grilled cheese. How do you get colored cheese? The blue version is made with lavender, the green one with basil, red is made with tomato, and yellow is a combination of mozzarella, cheddar, Emmental and Gruyère. Unfortunately, you can only order it in Hong Kong for now, but perhaps you can manage to make it at home.

Orange chocolate kruidnoten 

For candy lovers, the arrival of Sinterklaas is always a festive moment, because it means you can once again go all out with bags of chocolate kruidnoten. But now you can also buy a special King’s Day kruidnoot with an orange chocolate coating at the grocer.
