The Infatuation is a restaurant review site that pays its own bills. They resolutely turn down invitations to meals in exchange for a review. And that results in objective reviews. Everything that appears on the site is not written by professional food critics. So there are no pretentiously written reviews, but there are entertaining and informative pieces.

The site was founded in 2009 by two young men who wanted to help their friends find good restaurants. The two also wanted you to be able to find a restaurant via the site that perfectly matches your special needs for the evening. For example, you can search for the best restaurant for a date night or dinner with friends.

FavorFlav isn’t the only fan; the review site now has nearly 700,000 followers on Instagram.
