New: Bar-Restaurant Pompet in 020

Amsterdam-Noord will soon have another hotspot: bar-restaurant Pompet is opening in mid-May at the Noorderparkkamer in the—where else—the Noorderpark.

Creative collective Hotmamahot—known for their catering at De Parade, Spanish restaurant Xampanyeria Centra and the recently closed restaurant Dum Dum Palace (you know, the one with that ultimate rendang fries)—are behind it, so it promises to be something special.

Pompet will consist of two parts: an outdoor bar and a restaurant. The bar was briefly open last summer as a trial. In the meantime, the restaurant space has also been extensively renovated, and you’ll be able to eat there this summer too.

The cuisine is French-inspired, and to fully immerse yourself in the French atmosphere, you can play a game of pétanque in the outdoor area.
