Nike launches Air Max 90 City Pack as a tribute to Parisian bakers
There’s no greater happiness than a baguette in Paris! That crispy crust, that heavenly aroma! The people at Nike thought the same thing, because look at this: the fresh new release is a snow-white sneaker that pays tribute to the bakers, the Parisian deliverers of all this happiness!
Nike has done it again: they’ve dropped a pair of kicks that makes me incredibly greedy. The last time that happened was with the colorful Nike Air Maccie Max, which were completely FavorFlav-proof thanks to the delicious golden fries. But anyway: only one pair was made, so I missed out. These freshly baked specimens, however, are already dangling in my basket!
The bakers of Paris
Who would ever have thought that bakers would be at the heart of the design of an Air Max 90? More specifically: bakers from Paris. The Nike Air Max 90 Premium was created in honor of the famous Parisian bakers who symbolize French cuisine. The sneaker is just as white as the work clothes of an average baker. The Nike Air cushioning beneath your feet feels softer than a freshly baked brioche. The upper features a French flag, and the heel bears a wreath of grain. Fun detail: the insole says ‘Fresh baked daily’.

Incidentally, the Parisian bakers aren’t the only ones getting their own sneaker.
