Food Art
The FavorFlav editorial team can never get enough of photos of food, especially when they are as beautiful as those by Marie Cécile Thijs. In Thijs’s new book there are 65 photos portraying food, all equally dreamy and surreal. We see still lifes of floating chickpeas, flying lemons and bleeding beetroot.

Food Startup of the Year
Seaweed pasta: it’s sustainable, flavorful and low in carbohydrates. Willem Sodderland of the company Seamore came up with this pasta and won the award for the most innovative food startup of 2015. Whether you can make a tasty pasta carbonara with it, of course, remains to be seen.
