Oh wow: Taco Mundo has come up with a Hamburrito

Before I get too enthusiastic about this, I have to confess something: I’m not really a big fan of Mexican food. Now, I’ve never been to Mexico, so yes: I do believe it’s probably a lot tastier there than here in the Netherlands. And of course, tips for great Mexican restaurants to prove me wrong are more than welcome. But to date, it simply doesn’t make me very happy.

What does make me very happy, on the other hand, are hamburgers. I consider myself one of the biggest McDonald’s fans out there, but I also love non-fast-food burgers. At the barbecue, or at one of Amsterdam’s Cannibale Royale locations… Or at Taco Mundo. Whut?
Hamburgers meet Mexican food
From now on, I can confidently tell my friends that we can order Mexican food that evening (because until now, I’ve always been only moderately enthusiastic about it); they can choose the Mexican dishes, while I’ll go for the Hamburrito. Smooth name, too. But we’ll have to order from Taco Mundo, because this gem is now on their menu.
The Hamburrito consists of what they themselves describe as a ‘juicy beef burger’. This tortilla also contains melted cheese, jalapeños, Salsa Mexicana, red onion and coriander. I’m definitely going to try it—what about you? Oh, and for those who prefer it: it’s also available in a grilled chicken variant.
