On a budget: VIA

No energy left to cook? We get it. But tasty food is a must, so never settle for less. That’s why we’ve put together our tips for truly delicious takeout meals, the best delivery services and affordable places.

Craving a thin-crust pizza with a charred edge (because it’s wood-fired) and excellent toppings? Then VIA is the answer.
You’ll find branches of this pizza maker in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Zwolle. No endless menu with countless options here. Here, you go for quality.
Spicy sausage
My favorite? That would be the Salsiccia with mozzarella, spicy salami and thyme. The spicy sausage is truly addictive. I’m also a fan of the variety with mozzarella, spinach, pancetta, ricotta, fresh garlic and nutmeg (one of my favorite spices).
I can imagine that the tartufi with mascarpone, black truffle and coppa di parma is a firm favorite for many. There are also pizzas without tomato sauce, such as the formaggi with mozzarella, gorgonzola, taleggio and Parmesan.
Pull up a chair
You order the pizzas online, and I’ve received delicious ones time and again. You can also pull up a chair at one of the locations. I highly recommend the one on Willemsparkweg in Amsterdam.
It’s not expensive; you can order every pizza in a small or regular size. A small Salsiccia costs € 10,- and the regular version € 12,50. Add a little tub of tiramisu for € 5,- and you’ll be full.
