People come up with the craziest dishes during quarantine (and this is the proof)

I wrote about it recently: because of coronavirus, I cook and eat better. There is simply much more time and space for new things and improvisation. And it’s clear that I’m not the only one who has (re)discovered the kitchen. Although that doesn’t mean everyone is eating better because of it.

On Reddit, people share their culinary, umm… well, creations. From creative solutions when an ingredient is missing to experiments that mainly prove some people are really bored out of their minds. But each and every one comes with amusing captions.
These people got creative when replacing the missing ingredients:
These people opted for an experiment:
- Lasagne op brood, waarom niet?
- Lekker koolhydraatarm
- “My Wife Said She Found A Recipe For Making Corn Dogs In The Air Fryer. Sounded Great. These Little Boner Muffins Are Not What I Was Expecting”
More = more is the motto of these home cooks:
- “Mijn vrouw maakte brownie in taartdeeg”
- “Quarantaine Charcuterie”
- “The Simpsons bingewatchen bracht me tot dit monster: de Homer Simpson Burger.”
Presentation is everything.
Today is blue.
- “Ik maakte Thaise basilicum-kip, draaide me heel even om en toen gooide mijn broertje er blauwe kleurstof in. Hij is 19 jaar.”
- “De kinderen zijn gewone pasta zat. Blauw was een hit.”
Finally: these e(i)xperiments.
- Inception: ei in ei
