No more phones at the dinner table thanks to this ingenious solution from Ikea.

Ikea in Taiwan has come up with a smart way to get phones off the table: a hot plate that only heats up when a phone is placed underneath it. This plate is used for hot pot (broth fondue).
One phone is not enough to keep the plate warm for a long time, so more and more phones have to be added in order to continue eating. According to the home furnishings giant, this shifts the focus back to what really matters: being together and talking.
