In an attempt to combat violence in Indianapolis, Donald Dancy, owner of a pizzeria, has come up with an unusual solution. Every person who hands in their gun receives a pizza from the owner of the establishment. “I see children aged 14 to 18 coming in here, and when they order pizza, a gun falls out of their pocket,” Dancy explains. So the owner wants to do something about it.

Cooperation with the police

According to the owner, it does not matter who the weapons belong to or where they came from; anything may be handed in. The restaurant is working with the local police to ensure that the weapons do not remain in the restaurant for long.

Here you can eat the best pizzas in Amsterdam.
