Recipe: Caesar salad soft tacos

TikTokker Soraya Riem wrote the cookbook for every amateur chef who doesn’t want to cook anything too complicated, but does want to eat, as the title says, Incredibly delicious! food. This book is packed with ultimate comfort food that is guaranteed to make your mouth water. From crispy Doritos chicken wraps to these Caesar salad soft tacos; did someone say food porn?

Soraya: “These mini soft tacos are perfect bites for a party, because they’re easy to hold and gone in two bites. Don’t be afraid of the anchovies (many people think they have an intense flavor), you won’t see any of them in the sauce and they really are essential for a good Caesar dressing.”
How to make Caesar salad soft tacos
- Chop the anchovies and garlic as finely as possible and place them in a large bowl. Add the mustard, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and stir well. Add 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise, taste and season with salt and pepper.
- Wash the little heads of lettuce, remove the core and cut into strips. Mix with the dressing and set aside.
- Fry the bacon slices until crispy on both sides in a dry frying pan and drain on a paper towel.
- Prepare three bowls. In the first, mix the flour with some pepper and salt, beat the eggs in the second and put the panko in the third.
- Cut the chicken breasts into 3 cm cubes. Coat the chicken in flour, then egg and then panko.
- In the pan in which you fried the bacon, fry the chicken breast cubes in a splash of oil until cooked through and golden brown all over.
- Top a mini tortilla with a small handful of lettuce. Then add some chicken and place it in the baking dish so it stays upright. Continue with the remaining tortillas, lettuce and chicken. For the finishing touch, crumble the bacon over the top.
