Tacos, anyone? And no, we’re not talking about the Mexican variety. This poke-style taco recipe created by Poké Perfect is a delicious twist on an old classic. Easy to make at home and on the table in 10 simple steps!

How to make the poke-style tacos
1. Prepare the rice according to the instructions on the package and cut the salmon into approximately 1×1 cm cubes with a sharp knife;
2. Then prepare the marinade by mixing the soy sauce, sesame oil, apple cider vinegar, water, sriracha and mirin in a bowl with a small whisk;
3. Finely chop the rings of red chili pepper and mix them into the marinade. Leave to infuse for a little while for the best result;
4. Then place the marinade and salmon cubes in a bowl and mix everything well so the marinade can infuse;
5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 10 minutes;
6. In the meantime, take the nori sheets and cut out six circles with a diameter of 10 cm;
7. Cut the avocado into cubes and the jalapeño into slices;
8. Then take the cut nori and a spoon. Press the sushi rice onto the sheet with the back of a spoon and continue until there is a thin layer of rice on the nori;
9. Spoon 15 grams of wakame into each taco, then top with 15 grams of marinated salmon and a few slices of jalapeño;
10. And last but not least: sprinkle with the black/white sesame seeds.
