Recipe: zucchini sticks with bacon (and dip!)

Wrap bacon around it and it becomes a thousand times tastier, wasn’t that a wise saying from ancient times? Nah, I don’t remember where I know it from, but one thing remains true: do the following with your zucchini and you’ll be blown away by how delicious it is.

For these brilliantly easy zucchini-bacon sticks, choose small, firm zucchini that retain their bite when prepared in the oven. Great as a vegetable side dish, but also incredibly tasty for dipping as a snack! For example, in this delicious chipotle-feta spread by Jord Althuizen.
How to make the zucchini-bacon sticks
- Preheat the oven to 200° C and grease a baking tray with cooking spray.
- Wrap each piece of zucchini in a strip of bacon and place it on the greased tray.
- Bake until the bacon is crisp and crunchy, about 35 minutes.
- Serve with a delicious dip.
