Crunchy pieces in your chocolate or flowing sauce over your ice cream. Salted caramel remains a crowd pleaser and has now infiltrated the soft drinks aisle itself. Say hello to salted caramel cola.

Pepsi has chosen to put the sweet-and-salty delight in cola. Taking it too far, if you ask us. In any case, salty things aren’t meant to be drunk, except when you put your soup bowl to your mouth to slurp up the broth from your ramen. Fortunately, it’s not available in the Netherlands yet; we’re keeping a close eye on it, at least.
