Sergio Herman’s Frites Atelier launches Spicy Royal Rendang and brings back Chili con Queso
Top chef Sergio Herman has once again added two flavourful specials to the menu at Frites Atelier. The popular Chili con Queso is back after an absence, while the brand-new Spicy Royal Rendang makes its debut. What can you expect from these surprising loaded fries?
The story behind Frites Atelier
Since 2016, Sergio Herman has been serving expertly crafted fries at his Frites Atelier, developed to perfection. He spent no less than 18 months experimenting with potato varieties, soil types, production methods and frying techniques. The result? Golden-brown, crispy fries that serve as the base for creative and culinary toppings.
Flavours such as Veggie Alla Norma and Arabic Baba & Feta have appeared before, and are favourites among both foodies and fry lovers.
Limited Edition: Chili con Queso loaded fries
The Chili con Queso is back—and how! This limited edition consists of triple-fried fries, covered in a mildly spicy Chili con Carne and a rich, creamy cheese sauce. The finishing touch: homemade Jalapeño mayonnaise for a fresh kick.
New on the menu: Spicy Royal Rendang
When we make rendang at home, we always make extra for the day after: to cover our fries with. Sergio Herman’s latest creation is called Spicy Royal Rendang for good reason. This version is a real flavour sensation: crispy fries covered with:
