This new mail-order business is exactly what I need in my life, and you probably do too. I’m crazy about homemade Limoncello and a sucker for sending gifts by post. So hello: Limoncello through your letterbox—how fun is this gift?

Vivian opened the Italian restaurant Viviamo in the centre of Woerden in 2012. And this year, a new culinary adventure has been added: Limoncello-in-the-letterbox. The organic Italian lemons come from Amalfi and are then all peeled by hand, after which they spend weeks in glass jars with pure alcohol to release all their beautiful aromas and colours before they are actually turned into Limoncello.

And honestly, Limoncello through your letterbox—isn’t that simply delicious?

The most delicious Limoncello

What do you get when you order? A handy little bottle (or a very, very large one) filled with the most delicious Limoncello (seriously), two delicious and beautifully intricate cookies from Italy, all sliding through the letterbox in a cheerful box covered in lemons.

For everyone

Someone’s birthday (over 18)? Limoncello. Want to let someone know you’re thinking of them? Limoncello. Want to wish someone a speedy recovery? Limoncello. Just because? Limoncello. Honestly, this is guaranteed to be the mailed gift that everyone will love. I only have one thing left to plant in your mind: just order, just order, just order.
