Spread it on! Old Amsterdam launches a fresh cream cheese
Cheese you can spread—what more could you want? Yes, all sorts of things, I got you, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with a tub of spreadable deliciousness. Even the food snobs among us agree (yes, you, Sharon, with your tiger roll, La Vache qui rit and that thick layer of sambal badjak!). New to the spreadable-cheese scene is Old Amsterdam Fresh Cream Cheese—and it’s delicious!
The Old Amsterdam-filled cheese sticks and bitterballen are a standard feature on our drinks platter. Double-dipped in chili sauce, naturally—that’s simply how it’s done. You can easily add the new fresh cream cheese to the platter too, because with the taste of real Old Amsterdam, this spread fits right in.
Old Amsterdam flavor: impossible to miss
The cream cheese contains pieces of finely grated Old Amsterdam, the aged cheese known for its ripening crystals and a bold flavor that is both creamy and sliceable. The cream cheese is fresh and full-bodied, and the Old Amsterdam flavor is impossible to miss. Delicious generously spread on a piece of baguette, toast or a cracker. The cream cheese comes in two varieties: original and chive.
