Star Burger at the Supermarket

Make a hamburger at home at star level? From now on, you can get the Tomeato burger at Albert Heijn that restaurant &moshik** normally serves during dinner.

The burger has been chef Moshik Roth’s pride and joy for years. He already served it at restaurant &samhoud places before it was recently renamed &moshik. And from now on, you no longer have to travel all the way to Amsterdam for it—you can simply fry it in a pan at home.

Just like the real thing

As the name may suggest, the burger consists mainly of tomato. You’ll find it in the meat-substitute section. Besides tomato, the burger contains beetroot, peas, corn, carrot and onion. No more excuses for not getting your daily dose of veggies.

If we are to believe the makers, the burger looks remarkably similar to a hamburger made of meat. It comes with a delicious accompanying sauce, so the only things you need to buy are a soft bun, some lettuce and, optionally, a slice of cheese. Enjoy your meal!
