Stock up for Carnival: HEMA sells tompouce costume
The chocolate Easter eggs are already back on the shelves, and the oliebollen have already been put away—it’s clear: 2025 has officially begun. So it’s high time to look ahead at the year; what are we all going to do? I think for many people the first big event is Carnival, and wouldn’t you know it, I have a very handy tip for that. The HEMA tompouce costume.
Because of course you have to dress up for Carnival, otherwise you’ll stand out like a sore thumb, but if you’re anything like me, you always start planning and organizing this far too late.
Go to Carnival as a tompouce
Solution: just buy a tompouce costume from HEMA for €22.59 now. Hahaaa, isn’t that brilliant? Right, I do expect a quarter of all Carnival-goers to be walking around in one of these—because how could it be any other way? Especially at this price, you really can’t leave it behind. And if you have children, it’s also a good option, because although it’s one size, children from size 140 can already fit into it. Just head to the pub with your whole family dressed as tompouces this coming Carnival.
Admittedly, it may look a little simple, but you can easily customize it yourself; with a homemade whipped-cream topping, for example, along with some matching accessories. But now I’m wondering: how long will it be before we spot a crompouce costume on the shelves…? It’s only a matter of time, right?
