Sun’s out, beers out!

What a delight: Dutch beer has its very own week. To wrap up that week, 89 breweries across the Netherlands will open their doors to beer-loving visitors from 1 to 3 June.

During Dutch Beer Week, you get access to breweries, tasting rooms, brewers and their own products. From newly opened craft beer breweries to internationally operating breweries, they offer you a unique behind-the-scenes look at Dutch beer culture.

Brewing demonstrations and tastings
Dutch Beer Week is an initiative of the foundation of the same name. The foundation’s aim is to make Dutch beer even more popular than it already is. We wholeheartedly support that, of course. We have also written about the best breweries in Amsterdam and Utrecht.
Why should you come? Because you’ll get the chance to brew your own beer. Various brewers organise brewing demonstrations where you learn all about different types of hops and beer pairings. You can also attend tastings and presentations at multiple locations.
