SUSHISAMBA opens in Amsterdam

sushisamba

Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine together on one plate may sound a little strange. But SUSHISAMBA’s concept combines these three cuisines as if they were made for each other. Popular abroad for years, and soon a location will open in Amsterdam.

In 1999, the first SUSHISAMBA opened in New York, and since then locations have also opened in London, Miami and Las Vegas. In September, it will be our capital’s turn. Alongside surprising food, expect a colorful interior and cheerful music.

Ceviche or stew

Naturally, the food is what matters most to us. We can hardly imagine a mix of the three cuisines, but when we look at the menu, it makes us very happy. For example, it features ceviche of tuna with pomegranate, wasabi peas and basil. But also moqueca mist, a traditional stew with prawns, squid, sea bass, coconut and lime.

Sushi and whiskey

Japan of course also means plenty of sushi to choose from, including the SUSHISAMBA classic El Topo with salmon, jalapeño, shiso leaves and crispy onion. The drinks menu is also well put together, with spirits from the three countries and an extensive cocktail list. Japanese whiskies of the highest quality and cocktails such as a Smoked Plum Negroni.

September

The restaurant opens on 8 September, right in the center of Amsterdam. So make your reservation very soon. For more information, visit the website.
