Ta-daa, here’s the flambadou

Flambadou-Favorflav

Craving summer and a delicious barbecue? Or are you one of those die-hard types who fires up the coals even in the dead of winter? Then you need a flambadou. This device makes the meat and fish on your grill incredibly juicy and flavorful. And it looks spectacular!

The flambadou is a new barbecue device, and according to barbecue guru Jord Althuizen, the man who would personally invent barbecuing if it didn’t already exist, the flambadou will be the barbecue hit of the year.

If you’re now wondering what on earth we’re talking about, the flambadou is a cast-iron cone that you suspend from a long handle over your fire or coals until it’s glowing red-hot. Fat goes inside, catches fire and gradually drips over your meat or fish—or whatever else you hang beneath this modern-day flamethrower. A spectacular sight, plus extra flavor and juiciness for your entrecote, tomahawk steak or side of salmon—or whatever else you’re planning to grill.

Must. Have.

You’ve been barbecuing happily for years, but now that you’ve read this, you know you really can’t go on without a flambadou. Lucky you: you don’t have to go to the store—you can order one online. And be sure to check your fire insurance policy too.

Don’t dare try it yourself? Then go eat at the wonderful Wils restaurant when it’s possible again. They cook over an open fire and with a flambadou. FavorFlav’s Sharon went before you and came back absolutely thrilled.
