Table Setting as a Higher Purpose

We can say with certainty that you’ve never seen tables set this bizarrely.

Dinner with friends? Chances are you’ll just take the nicer glasses and plates out of the cupboard.  But there’s a group of people who take everything up a notch. During ‘The Orange County Fair’ in Costa Mesa, California, participants compete to see who can decorate the most beautiful table, also known as ‘tablescaping.’

The four themes the participants had to work with were ‘yellow,’ ‘over the bridge,’ ‘marriage,’ and ‘Mother Nature.’ See the results below.
