I always think London is such a fun city to visit; it’s close by, so you can get there quickly (by train or plane — and even by car) and there’s so much to do. Especially when it comes to food and drink, I think it’s an amazing city, there are a huge number of restaurants to choose from and I dare say they’re years ahead of the Netherlands. Especially when it comes to Bottomless Boozy Brunches; they’re not a hit here at all yet, while over there they’re exactly the thing to do during your weekend. 

A Bottomless Boozy Brunch means you start drinking heavily in the late morning or early afternoon. Because in addition to a set menu, you can also drink unlimited alcohol. Often, a special drink is offered, such as mimosas, or other cocktails, beer or wine. But in a metropolis like London, you need to know where to go. No problem; I’ve listed the best Boozy Brunches for you!

The Bottomless Boozy Brunches in London you’ll want to visit

1. Jack & Boule
Within walking distance of Waterloo Station, and therefore also of the London Eye and Westminster Bridge, you can enjoy a very fun Boozy Brunch in London here. They call it ‘The Best Bottomless Brunch In London‘ themselves and I haven’t tried all the Bottomless Brunches in London, so I can’t say that for certain, but it’s definitely in my top five. Two hours of unlimited prosecco and beer with Mexican burritos for £30, or £35 if you also want to play pétanque. And it’s more than worth the price; this is simply a really fun place to have a drink!

2. Blame Gloria
They have several types of Boozy Brunches here; for example, one in a full Abba theme, or their Icons Brunch featuring hits by all the great artists of the past. A real party, in other words, and perfect to do during your city trip if you fancy some day drinking combined with a party. The atmosphere is always great here, so make a reservation in advance — especially during the themed brunches, it’s a must.

3. The Alchemist
This was definitely the discovery during one of my last trips to London; the cocktails here are truly a-ma-zing and almost like works of chemical art. At the weekend, they serve a brunch menu with three cocktails for £35 — but for an extra ten pounds, you can make it bottomless. I really recommend going here, because the dishes I had were also so delicious. If you don’t make it in time for brunch, don’t skip this place anyway!

4. Mama Shelter
A beautiful, trendy place in the Shoreditch neighbourhood. They have a restaurant here as well as a garden bar, both of which are really fun. The menu features standard brunch dishes (such as Eggs Benedict), and the drinks menu also includes the usual suspects such as Pornstar Martinis. Not a groundbreaking concept, then, but it really is a beautiful place where it’s always lively — do make a reservation, because it’s very popular.

5. The Drift
Millennials, you’re going to absolutely love this. The Bottomless Brunches here are entirely 90s and 00s themed. Singing along is absolutely allowed and happens more and more as the brunch progresses (understandably). For drinks, you can choose from prosecco, Aperol Spritz or Bloody Marys, while Espresso Martinis and Pornstar Martinis are also available at an additional cost.

6. Dirty Bones
You’ll find a Dirty Bones location in pretty much all the fun neighbourhoods; Soho, Oxford, Shoreditch and Carnaby Street. The good news: this brunch is very reasonably priced, at just £27 — and for London, that’s genuinely very affordable! You’d already spend that on a regular brunch, let alone one that’s bottomless. Highly recommended, then, because it’s also incredibly delicious.

7. 100 Wardour St.
The brunches here on Saturday and Sunday are really ON. One big party. They call it Rythm & Brunch and play nothing but hip-hop and R&B classics from the 90s and 00s. It also lasts a lovely long time: from 12 to 5 in the afternoon. There’s dancing, singing and a whole lot of drinking. It’s incredibly fun here, and later in the afternoon the dance floor is usually genuinely packed.

8. Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings
When it comes to options, you’re spoiled for choice here; they have four Bottomless Boozy Brunches. With one or two dishes, unlimited Spritz and/or Bloody Marys and Bellinis. Plenty of options, then. The menu also includes lots of vegetarian dishes — and they even have vegan options. It’s also a beautiful, stylish place, perfect if you simply want to have a pleasant drink and meal without necessarily going all out like at the options above.

9. Sketch
The Bottomless Brunches aren’t standard on the menu here, but they regularly host events — and it’s definitely worth keeping an eye out for them. There are several restaurants at Sketch, and for brunch you need to go to The Parlour. You can also go to The Lecture Room & Library, but that’s a three-Michelin-star restaurant in the same building… The Parlour is a little cheaper, but you’ll still be dining in style here.
