Best Product of the Year 2024: ALDI’s own-brand products win awards once again
ALDI is the inventor of discount and has around five hundred stores spread across the Netherlands. Based on consumer votes, ALDI’s own-brand products have won awards once again. Ten ALDI own-brand products were rated the best in the annual elections for ‘Best Product of the Year’ and ‘Chosen Own-Brand Product of the Year’.
A total of 228 products took part in the competition, and more than 57,000 consumers rated their favourite product via the website www.besteproductvanhetjaar.nl. This makes this election one of the largest consumer surveys in the Netherlands, in which consumers have a direct influence on the result. And ALDI’s own-brand products have won awards once again.
Five winners of ‘Best Product of the Year 2023-2024’
ALDI’s Heerlijck Banket butter stroopwafels, the Goud Gebakken low-carb crackers, the Snackfan minced-meat stick, the Bakkersgoud rustic light multigrain bread and the Old Cheese Salad were chosen as ‘Best Product of the Year 2023-2024’. The products achieved the highest scores for value for money, product presentation and user satisfaction.
Five winners of ‘Chosen Own-Brand Product of the Year 2024’
In addition, five products received the title ‘Own-Brand Product of the Year 2024’. Consumers assessed the products based on four criteria: appeal, degree of innovation, purchase intention and the product test. The winners are: MYVAY plant-based alternative to coconut yoghurt, Spanish Ibérico fuet slices, sliced Dutch head cheese, chicken curry salad and Golden Mill 48+ cheese.
