No idea where to go during documentary festival IDFA? We recommend these two documentaries about Priorat wine and an extraordinary young chef.

Priorat

In this documentary, oenologists, winegrowers and admirers tell the story of how Priorat wine came into being. The story is quite extraordinary. In the late seventies, a group of hippies came up with the idea of reviving the once-thriving wine industry from the seventeenth century. And successfully so, because today Spain’s most expensive and best wines come from the Priorat wine region. Showing at Tuschinski and Pathé De Munt.

Wolvesmouth

This fifteen-minute portrait is about chef Craig Thornton. With his extraordinary concept, the Wolvesmouth communal dinner parties, he lets people pay whatever they want to give. This makes the extraordinary evenings accessible to all sections of the population. Showing at Tuschinski, Pathé De Munt and EYE.
