The Chef’s Line is coming to the Netherlands

Soon you’ll be able to watch the Dutch version of The Chefs’ Line on 24Kitchen: a cooking show in which home cooks compete against top chefs. It promises to be exciting. 

The show originally came over from Australia. It’s hugely popular there. In the Netherlands, The Chefs’ Line Australia is also doing quite well, with around fifteen thousand viewers. 

Home cook vs. top chef

In the cooking show, four home cooks compete for a week against the chefs’ line: a professional team of four chefs from a prestigious restaurant. One home cook is eliminated every day. The home cook who remains at the end of the week takes on the highest-ranking member of the chefs’ line. Who wins? The jury decides. Top chefs Margot Janse, Jacob Jan Boerma and Dennis Huwaë taste the dishes blind and then give their verdict.
