The tastiest hamburger ever is here:

You don’t come across a hamburger that’s perfect in every detail very often. Except at The Beef Chief. No hard buns, overly thick burgers or an overload of toppings. No, The Beef Chief’s hamburgers are the tastiest you’ll ever eat…

The place
The Beef Chief has been around for a while, but I only discovered them last week (how?!). You probably knew about them already; for example, from the food truck they’ve brought to many a festival. But for the past few years, the burgers have also been served from a permanent location, namely at the Oedipus brewery in Amsterdam-Noord. A perfect match, because burgers go with beer, if you ask me. And with 12 different Oedipus beers on tap, you’re all set.

The Kimchief
The Beef Chief has a simple, not overly extensive menu (which is just as well, because choosing between those 5 delicious burgers is already quite difficult). My favorite? The Kimchief burger. A juicy burger wrapped in a soft, shiny bun and topped with homemade kimchi, spicy mayo, spring onion and, of course: cheese. Oh man, that burger, that cheese, that sauce and the spiciness of the kimchi: this really is the best burger ever.
The burger grilled cheese
Not much of a spicy fan? Then go for the Patty Melt. It’s basically a burger in a grilled cheese sandwich. This burger comes with a gravy dip on the side, for dipping your burger grilled cheese into… Say no more. Oh, and don’t forget to order a portion of cheesy fries with your burger!
- Is het een tosti? Is het een burger? Het is een tosti-burger!
- En dan die frietjes, oelalalala!
Go!
Am I wildly enthusiastic? You bet. The flavor is simply fantastic, and when your burger also stays neatly inside the bun, you just know it’s good. So if you’re ever in Amsterdam or come across The Beef Chief at a food festival, get in line and order a burger, because it’s more than worth the wait!
