The World’s Best Restaurants

It’s almost that time again: the best restaurants in the world will soon be announced by the website The Worlds 50 best. It will happen in Melbourne on April 5; for now, here are numbers 100 to 51.

One of the closest restaurants to us is The Jane in Antwerp, which ranks at number 74. Maybe it’s close by, but that doesn’t make it easy to eat there. The queue when new tables are released remains insane, and getting a spot is almost impossible.

Momofuku
Our idol David Chang ranks at number 58 with his restaurant Momofuku Ko. Just one restaurant from his empire. Getting a reservation here isn’t very easy either, but luckily he also has a noodle bar that you can simply walk into.

Faviken
Chefs Table favorite Faviken also just missed the top 50, landing at number 57. Quite an achievement for a restaurant located completely remotely among the snowy mountains. But the food created by chef Magnus Nilsson is so exceptional that it is noticed from far and wide.

Who will be in the top 50 remains unknown for now. We’ll be sitting on the edge of our seats on April 5.
