These 5 pans should not be missing from your kitchen

Have you recently binge-watched a number of episodes of Marie Kondo and are you completely in the mood for a spring clean? That’s absolutely fine, but don’t throw away the following five indispensable pans.

Sheet pan
A sheet pan is indispensable. How about roasting vegetables? Or making crispy oven fries? And if that’s not enough, try this delicious recipe for perkedel jagung. You simply can’t make it without a sheet pan. Okay, the grime on the sheet pan can sometimes cause frustration, but that can be solved.
Cast-iron skillet
The old-school cast-iron skillet is the pan that will last your entire life and always remain essential. It does require some care and maintenance, but it’s worth it. It’s perfect for food that needs a high cooking temperature. Think of a beautiful piece of meat such as steak. Also perfect for the oven when making chicken with crispy skin.
Non-stick skillet
For food you really don’t want to stick, a non-stick skillet is indispensable. Think of a fried egg that you want to keep perfectly intact, or pancakes; how else are you supposed to toss them in the air and flip them?
Dutch oven
They’re not always cheap and can sometimes be heavy to lift, but they’re worth it. These pans last a long time and can do pretty much anything. Think of making bread, roasting chicken or letting a delicious soup or stock simmer for hours.
Stainless-steel skillet
This skillet is so versatile. Whether you want to prepare delicious meat, caramelize onions, roast something in the oven or throw together a stir-fry. The stainless-steel skillet can do it all.
