These are Albert Heijn’s most popular own-brand products
Albert Heijn has won big at the ‘Best Product of the Year’ awards. During the awards, 228 products took part and more than 57,000 consumers cast their votes. Based on these votes, 16 Albert Heijn own-brand products were named the best in their category. These included the own-brand paprika ridged chips and the AH Indian curry madras meal kit.
Best Product of the Year
A total of 228 products competed and more than 57,000 consumers rated their favourite product via the website www.besteproductvanhetjaar.nl . This makes these awards one of the largest consumer surveys in the Netherlands, in which consumers have a direct influence on the result.
Albert Heijn vegan range also wins awards
In the ‘Cheese alternatives’ category, Albert Heijn won the award with AH Terra Plant-Based Herb Cream. This is not the first time the supermarket has been rewarded with an award for a vegan product. Albert Heijn’s own-brand line ‘AH Terra’, launched at the end of 2023 and containing around 200 plant-based products, won the 2023 Vegan Award last year in the product line category.
