At Tempura Matsu, a restaurant in Kyoto (Japan), they serve noodles in a block of ice.

The dish is called ‘Inaniwa Udon’ and consists of noodles, mugwort (a type of plant), wasabi and raw egg yolk. In spring, it also comes with some cherry blossom.
Instagram-worthy
A special dish in itself, of course, but the way it is served makes it truly Instagram-worthy. The dish is served in a bowl made of ice, making it look like a beautiful sculpture. It is not only beautiful to look at, it also creates a unique taste sensation by bringing together cold (the ice) and hot (the noodles).
