These cuddly toys are happy to keep you company

No friends? No problem in this café, because large cuddly toys are sitting at tables everywhere to keep you company.

At Moomin Cafe in Japan (the chain also has locations in other Asian countries, Sweden and Finland), you no longer have to drink your coffee alone, because Moomins sit on a few chairs all day long. The large hippos are the main characters in a popular series of Swedish-Finnish children’s books.

Creepy or funny—we haven’t quite made up our minds yet.
