These people wish their food had simply been served on a plate
I honestly find it absolutely terrible: that weird trend of serving food in the most ridiculous ways. Sure, I love a beautifully presented plate… But please, let it actually be a plate. And not a book. Or a slipper. Or a cushion. Yes, this really happens.
It happened to the people below, who probably felt like crying when they were served the dishes shown below.
1. You pay a fortune for a cocktail, and nearly lose your eyes
2. Something we never want to see again: dishes with liquid components served on a PLANK. Who comes up with this, and can we send them the dry-cleaning bill too?
3. I have no words for this. Slippers belong on your feet, not on the table with dessert.
4. Can there ever be such a thing as too much pizza? No, right? Honestly, this is completely impractical, but it is delicious.
5. ‘A portion of fries? Of course. Would you like them in size 36, 39 or 43?’
6. You’re really seeing this correctly: it’s a salad on a cushion. I have no words for this.
7. And you thought your old videotapes were no longer useful? Think again.
8. If this happened to me, I would genuinely run screaming out of the restaurant.
