This company suddenly makes eating vegan a whole lot easier

Lazy Vegan

You want to go vegan or at least eat less meat, but you have no idea where to start and, above all: where do you find the time to immerse yourself in vegan recipes? Dutch start-up Lazy Vegan has the solution: ready-made vegan meals.

These days, you can find all kinds of things in the ready-made aisles. From lasagne to nasi, put it in the oven or microwave… ping! and your meal is ready. But ready-to-eat vegan meals? You still can’t find those anywhere. Lazy Vegan is changing that.

Lazy Vegan

The start-up responds to the fact that it is often difficult to conjure up a tasty vegan meal within a few minutes. And that happens to be the very threshold for many people when deciding whether or not to eat less meat. That’s why Lazy Vegan is introducing frozen meals in a variety of flavors. For example, they offer tikka masala rice with vegetables and plant-based chicken pieces. Easy does it, because within eight minutes, you’ll have your own vegan meal on the table

Trend

We wouldn’t even call it a trend, because we hope this continues forever. In any case, more and more people are choosing to eat less meat or even give it up altogether. Whether it’s for your health, to combat animal suffering or for the climate, every little bit helps. And eating the Dutch trio of potatoes with vegetables and meat every day isn’t exactly exciting either, is it?

You can find the frozen meals at Marqt and 67 Jumbo locations.
