Canadian Phil Ferguson is racking up plenty of likes with his creations on his Instagram. He is a textile artist and rather creative with his hands and yarn.

These days, Phil is a verified account on Instagram with more than 140 thousand followers. But it all started as a solution to Phil’s problem: making new friends. When he had just moved from Melbourne to Perth, he wanted to make new friends. Phil then started crocheting his tasty creations. Because hey, at least it’s an original ‘hook’ for starting a conversation.
