This is the programme for Mastercard Hotelnacht 2025
Great news! The programme for Mastercard Hotelnacht – the 11th edition takes place on 18 & 19 January 2025 – has been announced. The theme Celebrating Amsterdam ties in with the city’s 750th anniversary and resonates throughout the various parties.
During Mastercard Hotelnacht 2025, residents of Amsterdam can once again go on holiday in their own city. The hotels are throwing their doors wide open to their fellow residents and organising a varied mix of creative and culinary events.
Amsterdam brown café
For example, you can take a dive into Amsterdam’s past with a historic dinner at INK Hotel, while Park Plaza Victoria is celebrating its 135th anniversary with The First Supper. The stylish Pulitzer Bar is being transformed into a typical Amsterdam brown café, while at Malabar, Jakarta’s hotel bar, you can feel the Rembrandtplein vibe. On Saturday evening, you can dance at Jakarta’s Pool Party, to 90s hits at Barbue at The Hoxton, Lloyd, and in the Koepelkerk of the Renaissance Hotel. This monumental building is being transformed into Club 750.
Masterclasses
At the various workshops and masterclasses, you can combine the delicious with the educational. Learn to etch like Rembrandt while enjoying a glass of bubbly at Tivoli Doelen, hone your skills in making Old Fashioned cocktails at hotel bar The Tailor, and learn all about sake and cocktails at Okura. At nhow Amsterdam Rai, you can take an invigorating salsa dancing class.
On Sunday, you can join a yoga class at Jakarta and attend a Ceremonial Matcha Masterclass at LOT61, DoubleTree by Hilton’s new coffee bar. There is also lighter entertainment in the form of Disco Bingo at The Hoxton, Lloyd, and traditional Dutch games at a Bottomless Borrel at Celia, in Kimpton De Witt. Prins & Aap at Andaz is organising the Monkey’s Mystery Cocktail Night.
Dining at hotel restaurants
The hotel restaurants are also going all out during Mastercard Hotelnacht. The new hotel The Diamond is organising a Burlesque Dinner Show in its new Heineken Hoek Steakhouse; in a suite with a magnificent view of Dam Square, Anantara Krasnapolsky is serving a Royal Dinner; and at the Chef’s Table of two-Michelin-starred restaurant Ciel Bleu, you can enjoy lobster rolls and bubbly. For those who prefer a less elaborate meal, pop-up Chalet in the Clouds by LuminAir is serving cheese fondue, while Grand Café Krasnapolsky is offering a traditional Dutch pancake.
Mastercard: special privileges
For the fifth year in a row, Mastercard is the proud main partner of Hotelnacht, which has been organised since 2013. During the hotel festival, Mastercard cardholders receive special privileges, such as free admission to the Museum Rembrandthuis, and can travel from one hotel party to the next aboard a luxurious hop-on hop-off salon boat from ‘t Smidtje Luxury Cruises.
