This wine is the ultimate pairing with… Oreo cookies!
We had heard of Oreo sushi, ice cream cakes and lip balm in the editorial office, but wine that tastes like Oreo? That we hadn’t. But it exists, really!
A Limited Edition wine that tastes like a delicious chocolate cookie; for this collaboration, the cookie brand joined forces with wine brand Barefoot. Some red wines do sometimes have hints of chocolate and cookies. So why not the taste of those round sandwiches with the white cream layer in between?
Cookies and wine
The wine is obviously not actually made from finely ground Oreo cookies; the idea is to drink this wine with the cookies as a pairing. Because apparently it is an ideal combination – the flavors in the wine Although the wine’s flavors – oak, blackberries and cherries – are said by the makers to pair perfectly with Oreos. Cookies and wine; we predict a new trend in 2022!
