Three-course Christmas dinner at the chip shop

Celebrating Christmas at the chip shop, why not? At Par Hasard, you can enjoy a delicious festive three- or four-course menu during the holidays.

Par Hasard is on my speed dial when I’m hungover and immediately need a good portion of fries. Or well, not actually on speed dial, but definitely among the favourites and recently ordered options in my Deliveroo account. The fries are wonderfully crispy, and their homemade piccalilli mayo is reason enough to eat here every week. And have you ever tried their homemade frikandel?

Burgundian Christmas menu

During Christmas, the quality chip shop (which you can find in Amsterdam, Scheveningen and Almere) takes things a step further and serves a Burgundian three- or four-course menu. They serve, for example, game pâté with chutney and crostini, seafood with champagne sauce and confit de canard with crémant sauerkraut. Hopefully with a good portion of fries alongside the main course?

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

You can now make a reservation for a Christmas dinner at all locations. Still not ready to stop celebrating afterwards? On New Year’s Eve, you can enjoy unlimited oliebollen and bubbly for €27.50. You can also take part in a competition that evening. The guest who guesses how many bitterballen fit in a bottle of champagne will receive free bitterballen at Par Hasard for all of 2019. Now that’s a delicious way to ring in the new year!
