Thuisbezorgd.nl has been presenting these awards for the eighth consecutive year to honour the best delivery restaurants on the popular food-ordering website. The best delivery restaurants in the Netherlands were chosen based on public votes. In total, more than 50,000 Dutch food lovers voted for restaurants in 54 different categories.

Best restaurant in the Netherlands
Fries, hamburgers and pizza remain just as popular as ever. These were therefore the top 3 most-ordered dishes over the past year. According to the Dutch public, Abi Patat from Amsterdam is the place to go for the best fries; Abi Patat was therefore named the best delivery restaurant in the Netherlands.
Best Healthy Restaurant
Does an awards ceremony like this make you hungry? Understandably, and we know just the place. These are the stars of the Thuisbezorgd.nl stable. Take KAUAI in Utrecht. Fast food, but healthy—that’s what’s on the menu at KAUAI. And it fits perfectly with the spirit of the times, because vegetarian and healthy ‘fast food’ restaurants are becoming increasingly popular, with no less than 57% more vegetarian and vegan orders on Thuisbezorgd.nl in 2021 than the year before.
