Tip: Kantien in Utrecht

Just a quick tip for a new restaurant in Utrecht. Not in the city centre, but in the west. Let’s head to Kantien.

What immediately caught FavorFlav’s Nora’s attention at Kantien? There’s space. Space to have a conversation without the table next to you being able to listen in. It’s also great that you can enjoy an extensive dinner there or grab a quick daily special. You can park right in front of the door — where can you still do that these days?

The menu changes every month and includes a few vegetarian, fish and meat dishes. Great, because that makes choosing easy. The dishes are just a little different, without being immediately far-fetched. Bread with butter to start, but you get curry butter with poppy seeds and butter beans on the side.
 

Three courses cost € 32.50, four €38.50 and five courses €44.00. The daily special costs €14.-.
