Top tip: this holiday home in England comes with beer taps
Is it your task to choose the accommodation for the next friends’ weekend? Or maybe you’ll simply round them up after reading this, because wow, this sounds like such fun: renting a holiday home with a complete bar, including a beer tap!

Just a short trip across the Channel, but it saves you the usual hassle of lugging crates around: this holiday home, suitable for 30 people (!), used to be a classic pub: The Poacher’s Arms. Now it is what they call a country retreat in England’s Peak District. The village of Hope, where The Poacher’s Arms is located, lies in the middle of the gently rolling green Hope Valley. Surrounded by the Peak District nature reserve, you can go walking, climbing, cycling and horse riding, and generally enjoy being outdoors. Perfect conditions, then, for the morning after demonstrating (and covering up the evidence of) your beer-tapping skills.
Or jump into the hot tub
Prefer not to leave the pub? There is a hot tub in the (beer) garden, and the house also has a games room where you can play table tennis and table football. There is also a spacious, pleasant kitchen, and, as befits a real pub, plenty of round tables for some serious card playing.
