Fan of Asian street food? Then you can indulge at the Umami Park festival on August 25 and 26 and eat your way through all of Asia in one weekend. Staying completely on theme, the secret zen garden of De Tropen will be transformed into Little Asia.

From Tokyo to Jakarta

It doesn’t matter which Asian food culture appeals to you most, because they will all be represented at this food truck festival. Will you go for Indonesian-inspired rendang croquettes or a bao bun with hoisin duck from the Duck Truck? Japanese okonomiyaki or Korean fried chicken? We’re already struggling to choose. In any case, there will be enough food trucks to satisfy everyone.

Workshops and massages

Tired from all that walking and eating? Go for a relaxing Thai massage. No happy endings. Or unwind around the beautiful pond in the zen garden. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a koi swimming by. Still up for an activity? Then take a Japanese tea-making or meditation course.
