Vegan döner at Pita 3.0

vegan pita

From February 26, you can get the first vegan döner in the Netherlands in Amsterdam. At Pita 3.0, they sell your beloved greasy snack, but plant-based and without compromising on taste. We’re very curious about it.

In vegan haven Berlin, you’ve been able to eat vegan döner for some time, so it was high time for Amsterdam’s hospitality industry to follow this example. At gyros restaurant Vleesch noch Visch, you can already get your vegetarian warm ‘meat’ sandwich, but for the plant-based version, you do have to leave out the tzatziki.

Kapsalon and baklava

At Pita 3.0, everything is vegan, including the garlic sauce and mayo. You can also order a fully plant-based kapsalon. If you still have room left, you can fill it with baklava. The döner is made from soy and, according to its makers, is just as delicious as the original.

Pita 3.0 is open from February 26. The exact location is not yet known, but the kebab shop will open near the Overtoom.
