Want to get for Christmas: Licor 43 Chocolate

One more last-minute tip, ideal for the Christmas holidays, because this is divinely delicious: Licor 43 with a chocolate twist. It’s called Chocolate Delight, and you can simply get it at the supermarket — because it contains 14.9 percent alcohol, which means they’re still allowed to sell it. Definitely pick it up, especially if you shop at Jumbo: it’s currently on sale there.

And then a 500ml bottle will cost you just € 10.11, although I also think the original price of € 13.49 is very reasonable.
The familiar Licor 43 flavor with a cocoa twist
Don’t worry, it hasn’t suddenly turned into some kind of chocolate milk with alcohol, because you can still taste the authentic Licor 43 flavor very clearly. Do pay close attention, though, because there are two varieties: the one in the supermarket is the ‘Delight’ variety, which has a lower alcohol content. This is called a ‘Likorette’ and is therefore less strong.
There is also the ‘regular’ variety, which has a slightly higher alcohol percentage: 16 percent instead of 14.9 percent. You can get this one at the liquor store, such as Gall & Gall. And while you’re there, check right away whether they still have the crème brûlée edition — it is also unbelievably delicious. Cheers!
