Want to have: bread lamp

broodlamp

From a croissant for breakfast to a baguette with butter and salt at dinner. Bread is the common thread running through our lives. Yours too? Then this lamp needs to be on your wall very soon.

Japanese designer Yukiko Morita designed a lamp made from real bread for the design fair Maison et Objet in Paris. What? Her previous profession was baker, so baking bread is second nature to her. She then completely hollows out the loaves and finishes them with a layer of synthetic resin, which keeps the bread completely intact and shiny. Add an LED lamp and it can go on the wall.
