Wanted: AV Production and/or Media Design Intern
Will you join our editorial team? FavorFlav.com is the site where food lovers get their culinary fix: from sophisticated Michelin-starred dishes to the ultimate roti at the Surinamese snack bar around the corner. FavorFlav is a title by PilotStudio, known for Amayzine.com, Franska.nl and the television programmes Jinek and Beste Kijkers, among others.
Who we are looking for
As we are currently coming up with one creative plan after another and want everything to look even more delicious, we are looking for an AV PRODUCTION AND/OR MEDIA DESIGN INTERN. Someone to strengthen our editorial team in creating a recognisable and appetising visual language in the broadest sense of the word: from creating attractive visuals to improving the corporate identity and making delicious photos and videos.
What we ask
Creativity: you blow us away with your ideas for an attractive visual language. You have strong design skills, Adobe CC holds few secrets for you and you enjoy photographing, filming and editing. You are also not afraid of the occasional silly GIF.
Knowledge of WordPress: we do not need to explain how to embed your creative outbursts in our articles. In fact, you are even more familiar with all the (new) technical possibilities than we are.
Responsibility: you will work as a fully fledged colleague on the editorial team, so we expect a proactive and responsible attitude from you. Deadlines are naturally sacred to you.
What we offer
The duration of the internship is negotiable, but we would like you to join us for at least three months full-time, preferably from September onwards. You will get a workstation at the most beautiful and cosiest editorial office in Amsterdam-Zuid, and we provide a mega lunch every day. The internship allowance is also well taken care of, and you will build the most delicious portfolio of all your fellow students. And perhaps best of all: you will regularly attend fun openings and launches and meet the crème de la crème of the Dutch food scene.
