Warm cheese with nuts, honey and grapes

Warme_Kaas_1220x300

A dying barbecue is perfect for preparing a dessert. This recipe from The Great Winter BBQ Book proves it. Now all you have to do is pick out a cheese.

Mix the nuts and honey together, remove the cheese from its packaging and place it ‘au naturel’ (unwrapped) back in the bottom box. Divide the honey and nuts over the cheese and fold aluminum foil around the bottom of the box. Place the box on a dying barbecue until the cheese is warm and soft. Once it is off the heat, you can remove the foil again.

Caution: hot!

Now you can eat the cheese straight from the box with a small spoon. Or spread it on a piece of bread. Eat the grapes alongside it.

TIP

Garnish the cheese with whatever you like. Your favorite nuts, dried fruit, favorite honey.

If you don’t like sweet things, a warm cheese like this is also lovely on its own. On delicious olive crackers, for example.
