What a dream job! Drinking shots and getting paid for it! Apply quickly

Drinking shots full-time as a paid job?! Yep, this vacancy is genuinely open right now. Are you someone who can easily drink dozens of shots on a night out… Then they’re looking for you — so apply today.

Dream job
We come across dream jobs more often. Drinking wine and getting paid for it, professional Easter egg taster, a job as a new Flügel duck… But we hadn’t come across a professional shot drinker before. If I had come across this vacancy during my student days, I would have immediately quit my studies and started working full-time. I always hated working full-time so much. Why would you ever want that, when you could simply attend lectures, retake exams and hang out at Bubbels, Joop or Cooldown in Amsterdam every Thursday through Sunday? You’d have to be crazy to give that up for something like a full-time job. Well, that’s genuinely how I used to think. But then again, I hadn’t found my dream job yet…
Drinking shots full-time
And that dream job would seriously have been this back then: drinking shots full-time. Paid. And no, this isn’t a joke, but an actual vacancy at Tippy Shot. This is a shot (new? Unfortunately, I’m no longer quite so familiar with the shot scene, but I hadn’t heard of it yet, at least) that comes in the same kind of bottle as Flügel, and there’s a cat on it — so as a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, I’m already completely sold on this shot.
From crazy cat lady to an awful hangover
They call the shot a ‘unique and unforgettable experience’, which I find rather hyperbolic, because let’s be honest: they’re still just shots, and the next day we’ll all have hangovers from them. Nothing unique about that; in fact, if you drink a gigantic number of them, it becomes a forgettable experience because you won’t remember anything from the past twelve hours.
Anyway, a Tippy Shot is supposedly refreshing, tropically sweet with a final kick in the form of a sour note. And it’s said to bring to mind the famous peach sweets. I like those, so bring on that full-time shot-drinking job. I’ll send my CV your way, Tippy Shots.
