What else you can do with nori besides rolling sushi

Anyone who has ever made sushi has probably had some nori sheets left over. What can you do with them? Well, make popcorn or crackers, for example.

The dried seaweed is not only the perfect wrapper for your salmon roll, but can be used in many other ways too. Because it is so dry, it is easy to crumble and mix with your salt. Ta-da, nori salt! Delicious on fries, chips or popcorn. Or make one of these other recipes.

Chips
You can sprinkle that nori salt over regular potato chips, but you can also take it a step further and make chips from nori. They are just as crispy and salty as you are used to from your regular chips.

Granola
Seaweed in your yogurt, why not? This granola is sweet, yet also a little savory because of the seaweed and sichimi togarashi. For when you love Japanese food so much that you want to have those flavors in your mouth even at 7:00 in the morning.

Poké crackers
Poké bowl? No, poké cracker! The Hawaiian fish dish may be even tastier on a crispy nori cracker than in a large bowl of rice. It also looks very fancy, so next time you have to make an appetizer, you’ll know what to do. Make these nori crackers with poké and spicy mayo, of course!

Steak
Before frying your steak, roll it in a mixture of nori, salt, pepper, sesame seeds and chili flakes. Then cook it to perfection and you have a fantastic main course to serve after those crackers from above.
